Boy meets Girl.  Boy almost loses Girl.  Girl almost loses Boy.

terrace

Premiere
*Hair: pony tail
*Clothing: PK issue
*Action: Aeryn gets stuck on an escaping prison ship, beats John up, gets ''irreversibly contaminated'' after sticking up for the ''Erp'' man, and forced to flee with the prisoners - ''You can be more'' - this is supposed to make her feel better???  It does start her personal revolution, although she is surly and terse. Some nice proximity alerts - and hey she beat the dren out of him.

I, E.T.
*Hair: French braid
*Clothing: black tank and PK jacket (cut off sleeves), black pants
*Action:  We get some major proximity alerts - especially when Moya lands on the planet.  This whole ep Aeryn is terse, almost scared - after all she is the alien being hunted here.

Exodus from Genesis
*Hair: French braid
*Clothing: PK jacket (cut off sleeves) with mesh long sleeve shirt
*Action: Of course she WAS suffering from heat delirium, so Aeryn is understandingly beligerent.  John spent much of the time watching over Aeryn during her suffering, his worry about her was paltable. Aeryn's reliance on John (course it was to kill her!) and the Terrace tag scene seals the deal that these two are something special.

Throne for a Loss
*Hair: down
*Clothing: season 1 black vest and black tank
*Action: Aeryn is in her element being very soldier-like. Some proximity alerts while John and Aeryn fought D'argo. The whole scene of her plan, knocking him out and later in the prowler was just hysterical! A sign of the future Butch & Sundance to come.

Back and Back and Back to the Future
*Hair:
*Clothing:
*Action:

Thank God it's Friday. Again.
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: cut off shirt, season 1 vest; later black tank
*Action: tries looking down her nose at everything - Moya's crew and new contacts; after Rygel is almost ''assassinated'', Aeryn must relinquish her role as soldier and use her brain - the puzzle solving was not in her training and her ''pulse rifle was no use''; this is also her first real bonding experience with Pilot.
Some proximity alerts as John and Aeryn discuss and complete John's plan.

PK Tech Girl
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: gray tank
*Action: Aeryn is very PK ''drill sergeant'' - it's ''her world'' and no one should interfere; she is also touched with regret about her lost life and the lives of her comrades. ''At first, in the beginning, I found you interesting'' - this is the first time we the audience (oh and John too) see that Aeryn is aware of him as more than a lower species to look down on. And the shippers say "woo hoo"!!!

That Old Black Magic
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: season 1 vest
*Action: Aeryn is confused and bewildered, of course so is everyone.  Trying to find some shippyness in this ep . . . still trying to find it . . . reaching . . . oh wait . . . it was when they found John, she was very concerned.

DNA Mad Scientist
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: white tank, season 1 vest, green pants
*Action: Aeryn starts out angry, but its later revealed that is a cover - she is scared to be left behind on Moya alone, abandoned by the rest of the crew; her home is the Charted Territories, and she cannot return ''EVER''.  There are a ton of great two shots with John and Aeryn talking.  John tells her she can come to Earth with him - he even tries to giver her a Smilie face of food cubes - and he tells her that she would fit in on Earth just fine. Interestingly, when giving Aeryn the antidote, John says ''Oh God, what have I done?'' the same line he later states in ''Die Me Dichotomy'' - hmmmm.

They've Got a Secret
*Hair:
loose pony tail
*Clothing: black tank and season 1 vest, green pants
*Action: She seems very pensive in this episode, and yet sometimes she is almost jovial. It opens with Aeryn on John's shoulders fixing something - major proximity alert, but it also shows them really beginning to work together even when there isn't a crisis. The whole hand gunk scene - HUGE proximity alert, major shippy moments - especially on the DVD extras, and they have more one on one talking scenes because of it.

Til the Blood Runs Clear
*Hair:
pony tail
*Clothing: gray tank, short black jacket and black pants
*Action: Aeryn was angry with John for purposely starting the wormhole and going to DamDaBa with out asking her first. John kept the offer to go to Earth with him open - nice continuity. The first official Butch and Sundance reference - woo hoo! After cracking the code on the beacon, the look on her face having her fondest desire (going back to the PeaceKeepers) offered, but knowing it was a false promise is heartbreaking.  Aeryn tries to be invulnerable and not rely on the kindness of strangers when blinded. She actually defends the module from harm. Aeryn (purposely?) gets rid of Johns wormhole technology - what was her ulterior motive?? *wink*wink*

Rhapsody in Blue
*Hair: down
*Clothing: gray tank, black vest and green pants
*Action: Aeryn seems very uncomfortable with the facade of serenity the Delvians presented.  Hmmmm proximity alerts, but John and Aeryn spent most of the episode in different altitudes.

The Flax
*Hair: down
*Clothing: gray tank
*Action: The beginning see Aeryn looking down on John's abilities and very abrupt, but she becomes vulnerable near the end - Aeryn's big fear - being alone - really shows itself, as she chooses to save John (possibly causing her death in the process) instead of completing the repairs.  There are some major proximity alerts when the pod is being tossed around. A great interaction between John and Aeryn that was cut for the US viewing. Oh gee let's see...after Aeryn saves John's life, when they think they are going to die, they go after each other, ripping clothes off, only to be interrupted. Bad D'argo! And of course the tag...''you are the female of your species?''

Jeremiah Crichton
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: white tank, season 1 vest, green pants
*Action: She actually wanted to TALK to John about what was bothering him - huge step for Aeryn. Aeryn got to use her military skills in the rescue (knowing an enemy and all that jazz), plus her plan works! Aeryn was the deciding factor in still looking for John.
*Random Note: I forgot how cold Zhaan was then, thank goodness for the Seek again!

Durka Returns
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: white tank, season 1 vest, green pants
*Action: Aeryn was very protective of Durka at first, she was in awe of his reputation, almost reverent with regards to him. This is the first time Aeryn has the opportunity to see PK propaganda for what it is, this is also her first PK hero who falls off the pedestal.  John and Aeryn really didn't spend lots of time together, the most shippy (still very early in our ship) was a few proximity alerts.
*Random Note: Chiana's first appearance, boy was it a doozy.

A Human Reaction
*Hair:
pony tail
*Clothing: gray tank, space suit, a dress!!
*Action: Aeryn appears to be feeling a lot (we don't exactly what) and tries to cover that; later she becomes scared and defiant while on Earth. Amazing scene not shown in U.S., but is on the DVD, after John has asked Aeryn to go with him (and she says no), he is packing his module with Zhaan and Rygel in attendance, saying goodbye. D'argo walks in with one of John's bags, as John is telling Rygel that his belongings are going to Aeryn, he looks up and sees that that she has snuck into the doorway. They exchange a look, and Aeryn has tears in her eyes, she doesn't say ''good-bye''. Later Aeryn, leads D'argo and Rygel down the wormhole to check on John; John seems to really want her to believe him and in him when Rygel is ''killed'', and she shuts it down (eye opening for him?). The ''Earth with out the sun'' scene in the safe house, wowzers! And the shipper rejoice! Many debate the "did they/didn't they" battle, but the "Missing Scene" (a morning after scene not shown in the US) answers it for me!

Through the Looking Glass
*Hair:
pony tail
*Clothing: gray tank, black pants
*Action: Aeryn shows her integrity to stay with Moya. She uses her background with PK technology to solve the problem of the sound in the ''blue Moya'' and the Pilot DNA aids her part in their ''rescue''. There were a few proximity alerts.  When Aeryn gives John the headset to block out the noise, and she tongue-in-cheek apologizes for her strengths (cute scene).  On John's last frantic trip thru the ''blue Moya'' he calls out to Aeryn, she says she thought he'd left her and John says ''I'd never leave you.'' *sigh*

A Bug's Life
*Hair:
pony tail
*Clothing: red PK uniform (ooooh so is John)
*Action: The basis of the action involved the rest of the crew.  Aeryn was very drawn to Laraq (ok who wouldn't be).  They are almost flirting.  She seemed to be looking back on what might have, or could have been for her. It is another moment when her PK world is falling further away. John was very upset/agitated at Aeryn's stabbing.
*Question: I still haven't decided exactly what she meant when John asks about the knife getting close to her heart, and she says "You have no idea how close" - did it refer to falling for Laraq, her old PK life dying or what happens in the next ep??

Nerve
*Hair:
pony tail
*Clothing: gray tank
*Action: It opens with Aeryn "working out" and then coughing up blood (?). John realizes something is seriously wrong and she asks to be taken to her prowler. After John finds out the serious problem, he then makes a plan to save her.  Most of the rest of the ep takes place away from Aeryn, as she spends it in various states of consciousness, she was near death after all. John (and Chiana surprisingly) risks his life to go to the Gammak base to save Aeryn's life. He runs into old flame Gilina, but rebuffs her advances. Aeryn has some nice scenes with D'argo, reminding us how similar and close they are.
*Random Note: According to sources, John was originally supposed to sleep with Gilina while on the base.  Luckily, Ben Browder (John) thought that would be out of character for John and fought to change it. :-)

The Hidden Memory
*Hair:
pony tail
*Clothing: red PK uniform
*Action: When Aeryn recovers and realizes that John has been captured by PK's, she leaves her sick bed and goes to the Gammak base to rescue John. Great moment when Aeryn gains access to the cell John and Stark are being held in and John says "It's the Radiant Aeryn Sun".  Gilina questions John on his feelings for Aeryn, it's her deciding factor on escaping the Gammak base. John is interrupted from answering Gillina's question by Aeryn's return, but his unanswer is enough for her.

Bone to be Wild
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: space suit with long-sleeve black shirt and black tank
*Action: John and Aeryn don't really share much screen time together as John is on the astroid and Aeryn is working with Talyn.  She develops a strong maternal relationship with Talyn.  during the tag there is a nice proximity alert, and a conversation about Talyn (man my arm hurts from reaching so far for shippy!).

Family Ties
*Hair:
down
*Clothing: gray tank with season 1 black vest
*Action: Aeryn seems aloof with the crew, except for John.  Very sweet moment in the "non good-bye scene" where neither of them say good-bye.  While John and D'argo risk their lives to blow up the Gammak base, Aeryn is the distraction.  Moya must starburst, and Aeryn doesn't leave without John (and D'argo), the only problem she can't get to them.  And low and behold - cliffhanger!
*Random note: Crais becomes as a more frequent visitor on the series after he "kidnaps" Talyn, and all sorts of fun begins.

Moya gone. Crais has Talyn.

Aeryn can't get to John and D'argo. What will happen?
