the red head on the left is a new character for this season |
Crichton Kicks
The season opens ''Some Time Later'' with an Aeryn-less episode, we only see the dream Aeryn that John has in his head.
*Dream hair: messy pigtails
*Dream clothes: brown bikini
*Dream action: Dream Aeryn seems to be both reserved and fond of John. The very pregnant dream Aeryn tells John she was not right for him, just the best of limited choices - is this John's way of talking himself out of his affection for Aeryn or Harvey? In a second vision they have a playful proximity alert - John is feeling ''his'' baby kick (hense Crichton Kicks). While John is feeling the stomach, dream Aeryn is playing with his hair. At the end, John goes back into his head to say goodbye to the dream Aeryn. He says he's not going back because it makes him sad. When mentioning the new girl (Sikouzo aka S5), dream Aeryn says ''New is good'', he says ''not always.'' He then tells dream Aeryn's boy toy that he is no one to her.
*Real action: When John meets up with Rygel and Chi, John asks Rygel (repeatedly) what Aeryn said when she left. Rygel then attempts to talk John into letting go of Aeryn (I'm sure for his own good). John says that's the plan, ''but you know how my plans go.''
*Answers: Chi and Rygel were obviously put thru the ringer during their separation from John and crew. I feel so sorry for both of them. Especially Chi, her gift is destroying her, and she hurt herself by it to help John's plan. Harvey is still trying to ''teach'' John - trying to convince him to ''affect the things you can and satisfy yourself''.
*Questions: Does the tag mean we will have no voyages into John's mind? If John can tell dream Aeryn goodbye, can he do that when he sees her in real life again? Is there any significance to the equation John writes on the wall ''A+C=B/0''? Should John and us the fans take to heart ''New is Good'' or ''No dream is guarenteed, grace of age, we learn to accept''??? Is Aeryn on that wanted beacon?
What Was Lost, part 1: Sacrifice
The second Aeryn-less episode is the first of a two-parter. John, Chi, Sikozu and Rygel use the dying Leviathan to find D'argo and Jool. John's first words to D'argo ask about Aeryn. John seems very despondent and almost hung-over. He is on emotional auto-pilot without his center, but still reacts and interacts with the world around him. Granny is a really big question mark. She put the subliminal message about Aeryn being pregnant in John's head, and is not surprised when he pierces it, but says she wanted him to accept Aeryn leaving. hmmmmm. We know John has some mind controlling ''drug'' altering his mental state (which we all know is fragile enough) and his actions with Grayza are not his choosing, but then add whatever control Granny has on him - he is the sacrifice for peace, but why him?!?!
*Answers: NONE! ARGH!!!! We don't know what D'argo did. We don't know what really happened to Moya. We still don't know where Aeryn is!
*Questions: What will Aeryn do when she finds out what Grayzer did to John (since we know there are witnesses)? How will John react to his latest torture? Why is Jool's hair the red red? Will the Old Woman's powder eventually make John blind if she keeps blowing it in his face?
*Notes: I think it's interesting to note that the Aeryn-John goodbye scene is still in the ''Previously On''.
What Was Lost, part 2: Ressurection
Conclusion of part one. Basically John uses Grayza's charms against her. The girls kick some PK butt, Rygel gets the other leviathan to crash into the mauraders, they send the PK's on a wil goose chase, create the triangle to put the planet back in order and Jool stays with the priests - oh and Scorpy gets shot and buried. But the important part. D, Chi, S5, Granny and Rygel are in D's ship towing John in his module. They are talking about being free and having no purpose. Granny (whose name is Noratani) says ''You've got a purpose don't you Crichton?'' He gives a half smile and stares wisfully into space. Awwwww.
*Answers -still none! Maybe next week...
*Questions - is Scorpy really dead?? Cause you can't keep a good villan down. Will we ever find out details on D'argo, Chi and Rygel's hiatus adventures? Is Jool really gone forever?
Lava is a Many Splendored Thing
No Aeryn or mention of Aeryn, except as part of the Previously On (John asking D'argo if she contacted him). Rygel gets the crew in trouble - again. Chi and S5 cover themselves in D's vomit to save the boys. Granny does a strip tease to help out (but was it worth the emotional damage to John and D'argo?). Harvey shows up for a split second only to be shut down by John. D'argo and John do a great Abbot and Costello. The gang is very happy to hear a message from Pilot in the tag.
*Answers - ummm, again none. A great fun romp episode, but not much plot development (at least that I can see now). John's snappy one-liners are back!
*Questions - did we need to see how much vomit Luxans can create?
Promises
*Hair - Down; much longer and ''rougher'' than the last time we saw her
*Clothes - Full body leather-like coolant suit; kinda creepy when she had the helmet on
*Action- John has a big smile on his face when he sees her, tells her everything will be ok. When Aeryn collapses in his arms, he caresses her face. She was suffering from heat delirium, so Aeryn wasn't completely herself. She does seem happy to see John, almost like she didn't expect to see him again. She even looks happy to see Chiana. It was very disturbing to see Aeryn standing between Scorpy and John (and later the crew), protecting Scorpius! Aeryn says she didn't want to come back like this and apologizes. Nice proximity alert in the cooling room - almost a forehead moment, expcept they weren't face to face. So sad to hear John say ''Just fate as usual keeping it's bargin, screwing us with the fine print.'' :-( She won't talk to John about how she got sick and later about what the AOTW (Alien of the Week) wants from her. He tells Aeryn that he doesn't care what she did, she tells him if he loves her not to say anythig to the AOTW. Her last words would have been ''Goodbye John'' (gasp!) except for the excellent head butt by Rygel. She is ready to kill herself to keep her promise. She looks so small and vulnerable wrapped in the blanket on the Jellyfish ship. Both Aeryn and John talk about NEEDing each other. In the tag they were almost to the season 2 teasing banter. When John asks her if she could tell him if she were pregnant (tense from closed captioning) - Aeryn looks surprised by his question - like it came out of left field. She says nothing then stares into space.
*Answers - Aeryn was part of an assasignation squad. Moya was ''kidnapped'' and Pilot doesn't remember who did it.
*Questions - What cause did Aeryn fight for? Who were the others with her? Who ''kidnapped'' Moya? Who will be the captain/spokesperson? Is Harvey really gone? Why did this Harvey go so quickly and quietly? What ''other things'' is Scorpy here for? Are all records of Earth really only in Scorpy's head? How was Scorpy communicating with the spy? Was Aeryn's silence on the pregnancy shock (for the sheer randomness of the question) or guilt (meaning she was pregnant)?
*Notes - Nice continuity with the past referring to Exodus (season 1). Great to see Chiana put Sikozu in her place.

Natural Election
*Hair: Down, very long
*Clothes: Black t-shirt with the Season 2 vest (new look)
*Action: OK, to start off with - something is very off with Aeryn. It is just not the Aeryn we last saw in DWTB. I have a feeling (based on my own rampant speculation with friends) that this is either a fake pod Aeryn or she is being controlled by someone else. Nothing to substantiate that. Just a feeling. Thus said, on to the analysis.... Aeryn is pacing at the beginning, waiting to talk to John, is interrupted by a worm hole. She then spills the beans about the baby to Chiana (not really like Aeryn but OK) and asks her not to tell John. She even seems (to my suspicious eye) taken aback by Chiana's question of the other John being the father. She is concerned about the mist affecting the baby, but later the radiation doesn't concern her until John brings it up. (Plus, wouldn't she still have issues with radiation considering how TalynJohn died????) When she finally sees Pilot, there isn't really any tnderness there. She is all smiles (when does Aeryn smile?) and openess, ready to talk. The only moment I saw that seemed truely Aeryn was when she had cut her head after falling, John asks her where it hurts, she says where it's bleeding and flicks his hand away.Yes it was nice to see Aeryn smiling at John, but the tag just hurt. Yes John needs to put his foot down, draw a line in the sand, etc, but did it have to hurt the shippers? Aeryn goes to tell him she wanted to wait until she was sure of who the father was before fhe told John - totally understandable in my book. Her 7-year-fetus-stasis answer sounded a bit off, but then what do we really know of command carrier PK's. John tells her he trusts her with his life but not his heart (OUCH - whose channeling Meatloaf with me?). She very tearfully asks him what can she do. He says come back with her stories straight. OK. Got it. Prove you can protect John's heart. *sigh*
*Answers: Aeryn does say she is carrying a fertilzied fetus in her. Sikozu can be killed - with radiation.
*Questions: Who's the daddy? What the frell is up with Aeryn?? Why did Aeryn give a different reason for coming back than the reason she left in DWTB? Is Harvey still really gone? Why was Pilot being eaten by the plant that supposed only eats metal? When will Sikozu jump Scorpy's bones (she is totally hot for him!)

John Quixote
*''Real Aeryn'' hair: Pony tail
*''Real Aeryn'' clothes: Thin-spaghetti trapped lycra tank (very un-Aeryn-like) and her normal leather pants
*''Real" action: John is still dreaming about Aeryn. All we see of Aeryn that is supposed to be the real her she is following behind Captain D'argo. After that, when we are on Moya again, it is the game's ''real Aeryn''. That Aeryn attacks John then later tries to save him. hmmmm By the end of the episode he acknowledges that he is not clear when it comes to her. In the tag, Aeryn is lurking in the hallway waiting to talk to John. She says "I hear I was a princess". He pauses then walks on by without saying anything. OUCH I am on the ''John didn't take the drug'' side of the argument. He didn't get rid of feelings for Aeryn...even when he thinks he has killed her. She is his constant.
*Princess Aeryn hair: Elaborately done blonde hair (wig)
*Princess Aeryn clothes: Beautiful white medieval gown
*Princess Aeryn action: Her accent! That was the funniest thing I have seen on TV in a long time! Princess Aeryn waits around on her bed for the players to beat the Ogre and kiss her. She never jumps into the battle, unlike the Aeryn we know. That was one heck of a shippy moment between John and Princess Aeryn when he gets to kiss her - even if it wasn't really real!
*Favorite lines: ''Would you like some place to sheath that sword?'' ''Well I may not be the princess you seek, but we could still have a really good time.''
*Answers: John and Chiana talk waaay too much - caused the changes to the game.
*Questions: When the frell did S5 and Scorpy learn how to pay chess???? How much of the anxiety John had about the situation on Moya was real?
I Shrink Therefore I Am
*Hair: Neat pony tail
*Clothes: Black tank (wide neck) and regular leather pants
*Action: Aeryn was cuffed and captive for most of the ep. Unfortunately we missed how she got captured. She did seem a bit more like herself this episode. Some great team work with D'argo and Rygel. She was comforting towards the blinded Chiana. John can't get Aeryn out of his mind. He truly is distracted by her. I am worried about the drug habit he is developing.
*Answers: Nuthin!
*Questions: Why are those Scarrens not giving up? Why was the crew captured so easy? Why were there flashes of TalynJohn memories????????? And why were there scenes we have never seen (see the cover page)??? Was there more of an impact from the VR game than we thought? Are we still in the game? What the frell is going on?

A Prefect Murder
*Hair: Pony tail
*Clothes: Black t-shirt under season 2 vest
*Action: Aeryn was being controlled by the bug and very confused all ep, still not sure what is up with Aeryn overall though. John and Aeryn did try to kill each other by the command of the Bug guy, but they eventually fought it. John tells Aeryn he thought the coin toss ended badly, she replies "it did". After the Bug guy is killed (Rygel so needs one of those attachments!), they are collapsed on the floor and grasp hands. At the end, Aeryn is mourning the people she killed, and John (without gloves!!!) comes to stand by her and touches her head. Very ...DD ending.
*Answers: NONE!!!!!!
*Questions: How did Sikozu know the Prefect's son? Why didn't she stay on the planet? Why was Chi so adamant about being on the planet?
Coup by Clam
*Hair: Down
*Clothes: Wide necked tank top
*Action: Not sure about this one...she was poisoned and tied to Rygel's physical and emotional responses. UGH! Not sure if John ever snorted Laka this ep, but he didn't really make eye contact with Aeryn. Could be big. It's what John doesn't talk abut that we should be aware of.
*Answers: NONE
*Questions: Why is Scorpy there and saving the crew's arses? We still don't kow the "among other things". grrrr.
Unrealized Reality
*''Aeryn's'' hair: down
*''Aeryn's'' clothes: black t-shirt
*''Aeryn's'' action: It was very strange. Aeryn was sitting in a ''window seat'' reading John's journal, while John was in a Talyn space suit playing with wormholes. She was also sounding out "existential" (odd word). She was laughing with Chiana. Chi tells her that's not the language she should be learning.
*''Chiana/Aeryn'': Claudia did a dead on Chiana. The hair and clothes were Chiana, the movements, the voice! It was amazing. It was also a strange combination of the two main females in John's life.
*''Redo Officer Aeryn Sun": Obviously they couldn't go back to the original hair and eyebrows, but it was fun to see her back in the original Prowler Pilot uniform. Her confusion over John knowing her name and knowing her moves was priceless, but whoa do NOT mention the birthmark on the ''sweet spot of her hip''!
*Answers: We finally find out who took Moya down the wormhole!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! We also find out that the information the Ancients planted all those cycles ago is EXTREMELY dangerous - especially to John. He has the power to change events, history, people!
*Questions: How did John survive the wormhole with only the space suit when the Sebaceans turned liquid in prowlers? Is that really the Earth that John left? Has time passed? Is Moya near by?

Kansas
*Hair: down
*Clothes: where to begin....Aeryn starts off in a new jacket (very nice by the way), later changes into the pictured 60's garb. Luckily she changes back into the new cool black and leather duds.
*Action: First off - I still feel like something is off with Aeryn, moving on from that...once Aeryn and the gang find John, they go to 1985 Earth. John is trying to fix a screwed up timeline. Jack is now scheduled to go upon the doomed Challenger. (Not sure if he was always and Young John's accident kept him home). Aeryn becomes obessed with the TV and Sesame Street (instead of being protective of the run down house they are squatting in). She then changes into the 60's outfit and tries to smooth talk the cop (whoa! not Aeryn like if you ask me!). Aeryn walks around Earth (without a weapon!!), runs into John and is there when John is going to talk to his mother. Nice tender moment if that is the real Aeryn. Aeryn (luckily back in the new clothes) is there when John gets his young self and his Dad back together.
*Random Note: Since when does Aeryn know when wormholes will open?!?!
*Answers: Not really anything - we saw they saved Jack's life, but...
*Questions: Did they change anything else???? Where did John's other sister(s) go? He mentioned multiple ones before. hmmm...
Terra Firma
*Hair - first down; then later with a little clip (Aeryn in a hair clip?!?!?!)
*Clothing - Aeryn satrs off in the new duds (the high neck t-shirt or tank, new high neck, smooth leather jacket); Aeryn changes into borrowed denim clothing; uncomfortable in the denim, she changes into the green shirt with the season 2 vest.
*Action - This episode is all about John coming to terms with Earth. Aeryn takes Jack on a trip to Saturn, plying him with questions about what John has said (about her). Aeryn befriends John's sister (who really has amazing chemistry with Ben on screen, I would have loved more scenes of them together) and borrows some clothes. Aeryn is all about fitting in here. She goes to John's house (very much like the girlfriend), is joking and laughing until an old girlfriend of John's shows up. While Earth is dealing with alien life for the first time, the aliens go shopping! John's best buddy doesn't seem to be the bestest of best buddies - a little snarky and jealous on DK's part. Aeryn opens up to Caroline (John's former girlfriend) about their respective relationships with John. Hello!!!!! Aeryn takes YEARS to come clean with John about feelings and emotions and *poof* she all girl talking with a total stranger! Back to the review... In the meantime, Scorpy and Sikozu are guarding the wormhole to Moya and contemplating destroying it to keep John safe. Sikozu must be very hot for Scorpius to think about suicide to protect people she doesn't like. Hope Braca doesn't find out Scorpy is cheating on him. Especially after that reunion scene. Grayza has sent an assasin to get info on John (the sex must have been AMAZING) and communicates thru Braca (poor boy gets used and abused by everyone!). While John and 'Aeryn' have a very serious shippy moment the assasin (who just killed DK and his wife) attacks them. Grrrrrrr - Even if it isn't Aeryn I loved those moments! Aeryn is shooting at the camoflauged thing as John goes to get Winona (it's a good thing Aeryn went to get her weapon again), finally D'argo and his ship blow up the creature. John has a tearful goodbye with his sister and father and leaves Earth to protect it.
*Answers - We know for the most part life on Earth has continued on the ''normal'' timeline. Braca didn't know Scorpy was alive, so Grayza must not either.
*Questions - What is Sikozu's deal? John had mentioned sisters previously, and we only saw one in Kansas and Terra Firma - did his time travel erase the others? Will Grayza go after Earth? Will the real Aeryn come back soon?
Twice Shy
*Hair - still down, untrimmed
*Clothes - the green shirt and season 2 vest
*Action - Basic plot: crew saves alien girl slave who is actually a spider (!!!) that feeds on people's strongest emotional trait and losing that trait eventually kills them. John and Sikozu manage to kill the spider/girl and get the crew's traits back. Now for the good stuff. The spider/girl emphasizes the perosn's strongest trait before feeding on it. Aeryn's strongest trait is emotional control (whoa! Aeryn controlling emotions? gee I never would have guessed that one! lol) and John's is hope/optimism. (Oh yeah D'argo's is anger, Chiana is sexuality, Scorpy is his Scarren side, Granny was too old and Sikozu wasn't "tasty" aparently) After encountering the spider/girl John is gung-ho about his relationship with Aeryn while she is shutting him down. Hilarious moment when John tells her he's not scared of her, then backs up and says "ok maybe a little". :) After the strong traits are taken, John is completely hopless about everything and Aeryn is an emotional wreck. After they are saved, Aeryn confronts John about the laka use. She tells him he cheated (cheated? like there's a rule and he broke it? A script and he's not following it????). He gets Pilot to fritz the comms for a few microts and tells her Scorpy is montioring them, and he doesn't want Scorpy to know that Aeryn is his weakness. The comms come back on with Scorpy asking what is going on - Aeryn realizes that Scorpy was/is monitoring the comms and decides to go along with John. They end up sharing a kiss (oh if only it was the real Aeryn!!!!!!!!!). John is very seriously freaked by Scorpy on board (we saw his paranoia in JQ) an we understand it from his history with Scorpy. It's nice to know that he is finally acknowledging that. Although Aeryn still brought him on board and .... well I don't trust this 'Aeryn' and I hope John is using/testing her.
*Answers - Sikozu and Scorpy are totally a couple! ;)
*Questions - Where did the monitoring the comms theory come from? Why did John SUDDENLY put the red vest back on? We haven't seen that since the two John's split up and TalynJohn wore it. hmmmmmm
Mental As Anything
*Hair - Aeryn is only in the ep for a moment, but her hair is still down and untrimmed
*Clothes - It looks like Aeryn is wearing the spiffy new duds
*Action - For some odd reason, the men of Moya follow Scorpy into some mental training boot camp. Why?? Is he a full-fledged member of the crew? We trust him and his friends???? Rygel mentally beats the dren out of a Charrid (go big guy!!). D'argo confronts Macton - his late wife's brother. D'argo and Macton posture and fight - finally confronting the question of who murdered Lo'lann (D'argo's wife). It turns out D'argo didn't kill her, Macton did, but D'argo aparently couldn't control his hyperrage then and used to beat her. Ouch. As for John - he gets thrown into a hole in the floor that is heated and locked. The only way out is for John to catch a key. For a PhD, John can be pretty dumb. He's got all this extra clothing and doesn't use any of it to catch the key - John decides the only way to get the key is to grab the hot metal grate bare handed and grab the hot metal key. Watch any MacGuyver on Earth ever John???
*Answers - We find out the Macton question and that wasn't what D'argo did on his summer vacation. One of the things Aeryn got John (the big red boxes from TF) was a TV - hope she got a VCR or DVD player and some movies, either that or Moya gets HBO.
*Questions - What exactly was the point of John's "training"? What did D'argo do on his summer vacation? What did the girls do during this ep? Since John and Aeryn were freely talking in the opening teaser - did they not have comms on?
Bringing Home the Beacon
*Hair: down, still untrimmed
*Clothes: Aeryn is in her new coat
*Action: The 'girls' episode was a bit strange. On a leviathan that is attached to an asteroid, the girls are trying to acquire a device that will make Moya appear to be something else on a scan. More characters not being themselves. I found this ep odd, because Aeryn doesn't take the lead, especially once she realizes that PKs AND Scarrens are there. She lets Sikozu and Noranti run the negotiations, then later lets Chi and Noranti go off by themselves, and has Sikozu feed her the info from the Grayza/Scarren meeting. It turns out that Grayza is willing to give away the Luxans to keep peace with the Scarrens. What exactly is her deal? Then Grayza gets double crossed. The Scarrens mention that they will take her to Katratzi. Aeryn ''rescues'' Grayza and Braca (who is aparently on a first name basis with Aeryn) and then tries to distract the Scarrens and company so that the Moya crew can escape. She fires at a Scarren (oh yeah cause that will work) and then poof we see her on the transport pod. Now the big climax... when back on Moya, Aeryn is all over John, despite his warning to keep quiet. When they discover they are being followed, John stumbles on the fact that Aeryn isn't Aeryn. While asking her who the baby's father is, ''Aeryn'' draws her gun and John shoots her in the face. Aparently Aeryn (and we now think Grayza) was cloned/twinned/whatever into a bioloid, and at least Aeryn (not sure about Grayza) is carrying a beacon that the Scarrens can trace. Good thing this bioloid didn't know about the baby or to speak English. So now they have to go rescue Aeryn. Is this a reverse Nerve/HM or LGM??
*Answers: not really a whole lot, except what the girl's did while the boys were away.
*Questions: Is there a Grayza bioloid inflitrating the PK upper levels for the Scarrens? Why did Scorpy refer to Scarren as the "mother tounge"? Why didn't Scarren translate into something the other could understand???
Constellation of Doubt
*Hair: Aeryn is missing, but in the 'flashbacks' she has her hair down
*Clothes: In the flashbacks she is dressed like she was in Terra Firma
*Action: As John is trying to figure out where he has heard the word Katratzi, the crew discover that the wormhole to Earth is still open and they can recieve TV transmissions. It was nice to finally see the fallout from the alien visit to Earth. This is more along the lines of AHR than Terra Firma was. While the show within the show was fun to watch, the whole point of the ep was for John to remember that in the messed up Moya from UR, the Sikozu/Stark said Katratzi.
*Answers: We finally saw how Earth really reacted to the aliens, and how they saw them.
*Questions: There were a ton of inconsistencies - Bobby was a cousin in TF, but now he's a nephew, etc - does that mean anything??? Is the world around John destablizing???
Prayer
*Hair: Aeryn's hair is down, not sure if it finally got trimmed (but I can't imagine a Scarren ship having a beauty parlor on board)
*Clothes: Aeryn starts off in her black T-shirt; later gets changed into a strange yellow jumper (not a great look); in some flashes she has, she is in a spiffy v-neck, high collar jacket with under dress (much better look)
*Action: This is supposed to be Aeryn's HM or WGFA. Her torture scenes were icky, but not as devestating as John's. She even brings up some old PK god, and begins praying to that god for a nameless 'he' to come for her. hmmmmm. Throughout her torture, the Scarrens discover that she is pregnant (whoa! and I would have bet money there was no baby). They then decide that they can somehow get wormhole tech from the fetus if it is John Crichton's (interesting tech). In her torture, Aeryn tells them the baby could be Velorek's (nice consistency) and when they don't buy that, she was an assasin and her contact was her lover. The flashes show Aeryn kissing the man. As the truth serum wears on her, the flashes become John. Aeryn discovers that her cellmate is a spy and Buffy-like snaps her neck. Welcome back Aeryn!!! Eventually the Scarrens decide to keep her alive for now, and take her to Katratzi for further interrogation. The other story is John taking Scorpy back to the mixed-up Moya to find the Stark/Sikozu to get info about Katratzi. Even this UR is slightly different that the last time John was there. John kills the Jool/D'argo, but can't kill the Rygel/Noranti and especially not the Chiana/Aeryn. Scorpy tells John it's not Aeryn, but John can't pull the trigger - so Scorpy does it for him. They get their info and go back to Moya.
*Answers: We find out about Aeryn's summer vacation - or do we???
*Questions: Was the John in Aeryn's mind a real John or her imagination? Why did Aeryn pray for a 'he' to come rescue her, why didn't she ever say John (or even some other name)?
We're So Screwed, part 1: Fetal Attraction
*Hair: down, can't tell much more, she's lying down most of the time
*Clothes: in the ugly yellow patient outfit
*Action: Moya and crew go to a Kalish station where the Scarren freighter (with Aeryn) is docked. Sikozu has gone ahead to scout the area. John (in the yummy PK unform from Nerve) is posing as Scorpy's PK (Scorpy is using and alias and is aparently not known to the Scarrens). Rygel causes a distraction (by vomitting large amounts of green liquid) and claims to have some Hynerian disease. It puts the whole place in lockdown, so the Scarren frieghter can't leave. Noranti and her servant D'argo (LOL) arrive to survey the disease situation. She actually causes Rygel to relapse with this disease and really threaten the entire station. John comes on to the nurse (ewwwww) with a prevention for this disease. As he follows her on to the Scarren ship, he sees Aeryn. He kocks out the nurse and tries to free Aeryn, who had been dreaming about John and is freaking out. John is captured and the Scarren questions him, he answers honestly, just not using the whole truth so he doesn't compromise himself. Again the Scarrens don't seem to recognize him. Do these people not see the beacons?!?!?!?! Since Aeryn's fetus might be in danger if she contracts the disease, the Scarrens decide to capture Chiana (who is immune) and implant the fetus in her. John and co. then plan to cut the lights so they can sneak in to save Aeryn and Chiana. They get there before the fetus is transferred. Everything actually goes to plan and they escape. While John is resting with the rescued Aeryn (sweet scene) the new and improved Harvey shows up! Aparently Scorpy didn't get rid of him (duh!) and really has been listening to John (just not with the comms). He tells John they have to go rescue Scorpy (who has been captured) because Scorpy knows exactly what John does.
*Answers: Scorpy never did get rid of Harvey.
*Questions: How long will it take for Aeryn to recover? What's up with Scorpy? How did Sikozu do that thing with her hand???
We're So Screwed, part 2: Hot to Katratzi
*Hair: down
*Clothes: spiffy new coat
*Action: The crew go to Katratzi in order to rescue Scorpius where he is being tortured by Ahkna. John and Aeryn go into the big meeting room where the Emperor, Ahkna, Grayza, Braca, Kalish and Charrids are chatting. John has a nuclear bomb strapped to him, that will explode if his heart rate changes substantially, and he's willing to share wormhole the highest bidder and by the way he wants Scorpy back. Nice proximity alerts for Aeryn and John - she is always standing beside or behind him. Always have your grunt around when you need a bit of muscle. Random bits we discover: Scarren mivonks are not external, Scorpy is a Scarren spy for 10 cycles and Sikozu is a bioloid. Whatever. Sigh, great proximity alert when John 'tests' the nuke with Aeryn. We peek inside the room where Scorpy is getting tortured by none other than Stark. Huh?? John and Aeryn are led to that room and John gets a bit of a test by Ahkna. Luckily she stops before the bomb goes off. After visiting Scorpy for a bit, John and Aeryn find their way to a secret chamber - where the Scarrens grow their 'special flowers'. They have a moment or two before they are discovered and then interrogated by the Scarrens. Now the PKs get to put in their offer - total pardon for all of the Moya crew. The Scarrens try to up the ante, they give John Scorpius. In the mean time, the rest of the crew has been trying to incite a riot- you always need a distraction when you are about to escape. As they make their escape - Scorpius suddenly stops them, and threatens John (oh and by the way the whole planet - hello nuke!)
*Answers: Not really sure...
*Questions: Huh???
We're So Screwed, part 3: La Bomba
*Hair: down
*Clothes: the great new clothes
*Action: The big Scarren emperor tells John if they had tried to leave, they would have been destroyed. So I guess Scorpy saved them. John has a conversation with Scorpius AND Harvey. Scorpius realizes that John was willing to leave him with the Scarrens, and the only reason John saved him was Harvey's prompting that Scorpius knew what John did about wormholes and Earth. On board the PK Command Carrier, John and Grayza talk, while Braca escorts Aeryn around, but she ditches him to go to the medical bay. hmmmm. The entire crew (minus Noranti and Rygel) go down to the flower room. Scorpy tries to destroy the mama flower, but it is shielded. As the Scarrens come down to root them out of the room, Sikozu shows off a special skill - she is built to destroy the heat producing glad and kill Scarrens. Aparently this radiation she emits is safe for those who close their eyes, either that or she can control the direction, becuase everyone is there with her, and they just close their eyes. ooooooookay. The gang gets back in this elevator (that is actually a drill if I forgot to mention) and begin drilling around the planet. Meanwhile, Rygel and Noranti have been looking for the 'real Stark' (did I forget to mention that the Stark torturing Scorpy last time was a bioloid meant to fool Ahkna? No? oops) Grayza loses it and Braca finds his mivonks. He relieves her of duty and decides to get the heck outta Dodge. Back in the elevator/drill, John decides (without asking anyone's opinion) that he has to stop everyone and he activates the nuke and drops it down the whole they made. Luckily it was a really long drop and the elevator/drill is strong cause they withstand the explosion and get back to Moya (well we have to assume that cause they don't die and the tag is on Moya). The tag... Norantia and Stark are hanging with Pilot (is there some UST between Noranti and Stark or is it just me?) D'argo and Chiana are nekkid in bed. Sikozu is pouncing on Scorpy. John and Aeryn are sitting near each other (not touching) while John contemplates what he has done.

*Action: John ships Scorpy, Sikozu and a nuke off to the Command Carrier via an air lock. Very GEM. They discover that the Scarrens are going after Earth - they need more of those flowers. John (who finally found some paper after four years!) decides he can destroy the wormhole to Earth by puncturing it. Pilot tells him that John does not have the reflexes and timing to do the task - but Pilot does. Pilot can be cut off from Moya for an arn and run a trasport pod. In a reverse scene from DWTB, Aeryn tells John she is going with him. Chiana has to slow time to see the sequence of a procedure and it appears her vision is gone. John, Aeryn and Pilot go thru the wormhole and land on the moon. John has a brief phone call with his dad (don't ask how) and tells him goodbye. Then the time has come, and Pilot flies them thru the wormhole. Midflight, they cross through the Scarren ship (cool CGI) and puncture the wormhole closing it to Earth forever. Moya is recovering under some water on a planet (she had been damaged by the Scarren ship when it passed. John and Aeryn have found a row boat and are out on the sea, while D'argo, Chiana and Rygel watch and comment on what they think is going on. He flips another coin - asking her to call it and their future - she doesn't and it drops into the water. He tells her he has a question to ask - but she asks to go first. Aeryn tells him she was checked out on the Command Carrier, she is fine from her Scarren torture, and she had the baby released from stasis. She is going to have a baby and the baby is his. John is ecstatic - but the gang watching thinks he angry. He then gets down on one knee and proposes - the gang thinks he's injured. Aeryn accepts, John puts the ring on her finger and they kiss. Chiana realizes what has happened and tells D'argo and Rygel. Rygel calls John an idiot. Suddenly a ship appears. There is some ugly alien at the helm. John and Aeryn realize they can not get back to Moya so they embrace and kiss. Ugly alien shoots something at John and Aeryn on the row boat. They are encased in somethig and suddenly break into itty bitty tiny shards. OMG THOSE BASTARDS THEY HURT THE COATS!!!! D'argo lets out an anguished roar. Our last glimpse - the ring alone among the rubble.
*Answers: The baby is John's.
*Questions: OH HOW THEY TORTURE US!!!!!! At least the shippers had one perfect moment.
